Hello My name is Madonna. I am 59 yrs old and have gone from a world renouned singer to sitting in front of the TV weeping and depressed. I have been to so many doctors. I have tried meds but hate how they make me feel,
My relationships have suffered and from singing in front of thousands of people with ease and loving life I dread the smallest events and have to drink to get through.
I know it is hormonal yet I have tried bio identicals to no avail.
I am almost believing this is the way my life will be as I almost forget what it is like to wake up with a spring in my step.

You mentioned estrogel and magnesium. I also have heart palps and hot flashes that are very frightening, I hate living this way. Thank you for listening and sharing your story. I feel a spark of hope somehow

In-Depth: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. Its goal is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind people’s difficulties, and so change the way they feel.

It is used to help treat a wide range of issues in a person’s life, from sleeping difficulties or relationship problems, to drug and alcohol abuse or anxiety and depression.

CBT works by changing people’s attitudes and their behavior by focusing on the thoughts, images, beliefs and attitudes that are held, which are a person’s cognitive processes, and how these processes relate to the way a person behaves, as a way of dealing with emotional problems.

We are here for you,
Maryann
