Hi donserbabe,
First, I need to ask you -how old are you and where do you live?
Overall joint and muscle pain are symptoms of Lyme disease which is common in the northeastern and western part of the United States.
Your chronic back pain may be caused by the slight curve in your spine. The changes in your spine can be compressing the nerves that travel through the spinal column. This could be causing the pain.
It is important to follow your doctor's recommendation to have the x-ray study of your spine and see what is going on, before beginning physical therapy or any aggressive exercise program.
You said that you are to begin boot camp on Monday. I am assuming that whatever branch of the military that you have joined, you will have or have had a physical exam. I would think you told the examining physician that you have chronic back pain or that your problem was detected upon examination. I would think that your medical condition would definitely impact your training and what you are able to do.
