Q:

Endo on lungs?

I have been suffering with this horrible disease for the last 20 years but only in the last 2 years have I noticed that I get a really severe ache in my right shoulder blade in between ovulation and my period starting. Just wondering if there's anyone here who may have experience with endo on lungs? Wondering what kind of test they can do to see if there is?

Hi Anon,
I've also suffered with endometriosis for over 20 years, I'm sorry that you are also dealing with this nasty disease. I've had my endo spread to my stomach, intestines and rectum, but not up to my lungs. I have read that in extreme cases it has traveled to the lungs. I'm with Rosa, I'd make an appointment to see my doctor and have them evaluate you and see what's going on.
Please let me know how you are doing.
Take care,
Angelica

Hi Anon,

I'm very sorry that you have been suffering for 20 years. If you suspect that you might have endometriosis in the lungs then please speak with your doctor so that he may run the appropriate diagnostic tests for it.

Here's an article you may find helpful: https://www.empowher.com/endometriosis/content/wheres-endo-many-places-endometriosis-could-be-hiding
