hi Ladies,

I am a woman of 44 and going to start my donor ivf next month. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hope things will go well for me. I have vaginismus even after undergoing treatment. Will this affect my treatment like what if I am not able to undergo transvaginal ultrasound?

Hello, RRRR. Thank you for posting.

As you know, vaginismus is a condition that can make sexual intercourse, gynecological exams, and even tampon insertion painful, if not impossible at times. So this is a concern you will need to discuss with your doctor.

Best of luck with your procedure.
