Do you believe in Chiropractic care? Can you explain why or why not?

Great question! It is all based on personal preference. Alternative medicine to some may be the only way but Western Medicine is what I tend to follow. When I was a kid, I had issues with my ankle and was taken to a Chiropractor for several months, to no avail. I have to admit that nothing changed with my ankle…I had an extra bone that honestly needed shaved so I was not walking ‘crooked’. I had Western surgery to shave down that bone and had no issues later in life.
My experience was more of a quack. No offense, but it seemed to me that the Chiropractor always had more and more things that he needed to do to make my ankle better and that it would take over a year to fix it. I remember that each visit cost my parents money and it felt more as a scam then medicine.
I would be interested in what other people’s reaction would be to this question also. Mine was not so great. Are you thinking about going to a Chiropractor? For what condition?
