Q:

Do any of you know if bunion correctors work?

I've had foot issues since I was a little girl, then at 21, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. I know I would be hard pressed to find a surgeon willing to work on this bunion. So, I've asked my Dr and he said it will be fine, so long as nothing metal or able to scratch my foot. But I would like to know (before I buy) if anyone has had success with it.
Yours truly,
Bridgett

Hello Bridgett

Thank you for writing and I'm sorry you are dealing with Type 1 diabetes. This is a diffiuclt condition to live with as I am sure you know.

I hope members share their stories with you. If your doctor is ok with trying these correctors then it can't hurt to try. They run 10-15$ on Amazon so it's not a big financial loss if they don't work. I don't think there is much scientific evidence to show they actually correct/eliminate bunions but reviews seem to be fairly positive in terms of treatment.

Best,
Susan
