Hello, Anon.

Thank you for your message today.

For the benefit of our readers: a heart palpitation is a sensation that your heart has skipped a beat or added an extra beat. It may feel like your heart is racing, pounding, or fluttering. You may become overly aware of your heartbeat. This sensation can also be felt in the neck, throat, or chest.

Some natural ways to treat palpitations include:
-Easing stress and anxiety
-Stopping or limiting caffeine, alcohol, and illegal drug use
-Avoid over-the-counter and prescription cough and cold medicines that act as stimulants
-Eat organic and/or whole foods avoiding processed foods
-Get an appropriate amount of sleep
-Make sure you are getting enough vitamin D (ask your doctor about this)

Speak to the physician treating you for advice. Your medication may need to be adjusted or another medication prescribed. The below resource might also be of help.
