I am sick vegetarian. No eggs or fish either, and have never taken alcohol or smoked. My ethnic origin is Indian from India. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

What kind of sickness do you have?

Triglycerides are a kind of fat in the blood that, when too high, can potentially lead to a heart attack. Are your health issues related to the heart? What is your diagnosis? Do you have a family history of poor heart health?

We have a helpful article on heart healthy diets as well as other lifestyle habits to stay well - please cut and paste here: https://www.empowher.com/cardiac-arrest/content/10-habits-healthy-heart
