Okay, I apologize in advance for the non-health related issue. This is more of a relationship issue.

My ex ran out on a lease that we both signed and left me with rent and utilities. (A lot of money.) Anyway, he also took his name off the lease (not the initial) and the utility he had his name under... How can he get away with this? How can he screw people (me/myfamily etcf) over like that and no consequence? No one is doing anything to hold him responsible and he just gets away with all this.. What can I do?? Please help.. Thank you

He has signed a legally-binding contract, and you do have options if you wish to pursue them (and his financial obligations) in court.

Nolo.com is the best place for credible, reliable legal information for us "non-lawyers". Here is the page that applies to your situation: http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/article-29520.html.

good luck! I am sorry you are dealing with this, but the link above also talks about how to prevent this from happening in the future.
