Q:

Could I be pregnant?

So I had sex with my boyfriend last week, about a week after my period ended. We didn’t use protection, however he pulled out wayyy before he ejaculated. He also peed before we had sex to ensure that the sperm is flushed out of the urethra. Now my period is due in about 8 days, and I’m experiencing tender breasts and slight cramping. They feel like my usual PMS symptoms though. However the cramping is only on the left side of my lower stomach. Could that be implantation? Could I be pregnant if we had unprotected sex (with him peeing before sex) but my boyfriend’s ejaculate did NOT come anywhere near my vagina? Could pregnancy symptoms be showing this soon? Thanks.

Hello Anon

Sex without a condom is never safe as accidents can happen but if you insist on it, you can expect to be nervous for the rest of the month.
Your symptoms sounds like PMS as you said. Pregnancy is very unlikely but if you don't get your period when expected, you can take a test.
Best,
Susan
