Around the time I was supposed to start my period I used the restroom and wiped and there was pinkish bright red. So I figured it was my period. Had cramping so I used a tampon. Barely spotted on it all day.
Next day same thing. Never any cots/mucus. Just light pink/bright red blood for 3 days and that was it.
My periods are always the same. Clots then heavy bleeding then end with light.

You may just be having a lighter period that normal - this can happen sometimes if the uterine lining is thin. Have you been having unprotected sex? If so, take a test so you can rule that out.
