Could i be pregnant?

I had unprotected sex on a monday and on that Wednesday i got my nexplanon taken out. I haven't had sex or any contraception sense those days.i know sperm is viable for 5days should I get a test. Also my period is a day or 2 late.

You may become pregnant as early as the first week after removal of the implant, according to the information on the Nexplanon website. If you do not want to get pregnant after your health care provider removes the implant, you should start another birth control method right away. So, a pregnancy test can give you peace of mind. Wait until you are 7 days past your date so you don't feel you tested too soon.
