I’m 22 years old and I’m on the birth control pills. My circle is usually 28 days with a period lasting 3-4 days. I got what I think is my period on May 9th but it only lasted two days (19-21). On the 22nd I got a sudden pressure in my vagina area. Not like my normal cramps which I feel more around my belly button. My last period was April 21-23. I had sex on the 24th. Ovulation peak was then May 4th. I had sex the 8th and 12th. Then the period I mentioned before on the 19th. ive been having back pain the past two weeks too. Just wondering if it sounds like I could be pregnant.

I didn’t mean to post twice. The first post wouldn’t show up and made me make an account.

I don’t always take my pills 100% correctly. Missing a day and usually not taken exact same time every time.

Hello,  Annon/morgan22.  Thank you for posting.

A two day period can still be considered a period if there is a flow.  Back pain and pain in the belly (different than normal) may be related to a strain or digestive issue and not necessarily related to your period.   Birth control pills are highly effective and offer daily protection against pregnancy.   If you are taking your birth control pills regularly (no missing pills, etc.,) there is about a 1% chance of pregnancy,  even with full intercourse, so the risk is very small.  A pregnancy test can ease your mind.
