Vitamin deficiency, diabetes, and kidney failure are among the medical causes of tingling in the hands (and feet) due to nerve damage. Taking certain medications can also cause tingling in the hands. Other potential causes of peripheral neuropathy include autoimmune diseases, toxins, alcoholism, and infections.
