I was prescribed this treatment for a condition that is usually seen in older women . My Doctor said it was unusual for a 34 year old to have thin skin of the labial area but that is what i had .He could tell just by examination and symptoms .My reason for going was extreme itching of my labial skin . It was driving me insane. He prescribed the cream for ten days and I have to say I loved him for it . It worked ! After just three days the itching was completely gone and everything was back to normal.

You may have Lichen Sclerosus, that would causethe itching and thin skin. It took me years of pain (and many of doctors) to figure out what was wrong with me. The good news is it is treatable with creams.

Did you go the route of changing detergent(s), no fabric softener sheets, cotton undies, etc? Did you apply the cream twice daily?

I was given clobetasol by my ob/gyn for extreme viginal itching. My Dr explained to me that I had thinning tissue that was causing the itching. He said this is usualy a condition seen in older women not someone my age.I was 35 at the time.the treatment did work and I hav not had a problem since then.He said the treatment would help to thicken the thinning tissue. It worked wonders in about4 days and I finished the two weeks he prescibed.

I was also prescribed the same treatment for a vulvovaginal issue. Supposedly, it works.
