I have an upset tummy and need to take laxatives I’m not back on my pill till Wednesday if I take them tonight/tomorrow night will I need to still use contraception for next few days even though I’m not taking the pill this week ...or will it not matter till I’m back on it Wednesday

It is possible that laxative supplements may have an adverse effect on birth control pill absorption. If you have to use a laxative supplement, ingest them a few hours after taking the pill to make sure and maximize birth control pill effectiveness. Don't take a laxative (if you can help it) before taking your pill, or with your pill. You should be fine to take them during this time. You still have concerns, your pharmacist can tell you more.
