Although I thought I took the shingles shot in 2015 my doctor has no record of that. Should I get it now?

Hello Anon
Thank you for writing.
A shingles vaccine is a one-off vaccination. Is there a possibility that you got one at a different clinic or drugstore?
Ask your doctor about the possibility that you had one a couple of years ago to make sure it's ok to get another one again.
Best,
Susan
