Hi, I'm 23 years old lady and I'm still a virgin. I have a bf and we've been together for more than 4 years. We never had 'real' penetration or sexual intercourse (saving it for the marriage). But today we made out and he only put his tip into me (only like half an inch to an inch) but did not cum in me. I am just a little concerned and went online to search for answers, and some people even mentioned that with what i've done, i'm actually not a virgin anymore! but no pain no blood flow happened.

Anyway, my question is, will i get pregnant this way? isit really true that if sperm was only near the vagina, i will get pregnant?

only supportive and real answers please.. i know i shud've used contraception, but it was our first time, and we didn't really planned for it to happen.

thanks..

Is "family life" not taught anymore? I knew by age 10 that the only way to 100% avoid pregnancy was no genital contact. Why parents and teachers are failing to convey that is beyond me?

see this is not an answer to your question sorry sweet heart but i understand you, me and my boyfriend are in the same situation, im 17 hes 18 . and im a virgin . the tip of his penis was inserted into me , hes almost certin he did not pre-cum nor ejaculate. im still scared . i was not on any birth control. i was born without a hymen . &im just scared . i pulled him out after about ten seconds. i know there is always a chance of becoming preggo when your not protected but please i need some comfort. cani have the odds . 1 out of 100 . a percentage that i could be somthing . thank you for all who read this..

hi i am 15 years old, and this is my 1st year in high school. I have been with my boyfriend for almost 3 months, and his family, friends, any himself have told me that he is head over heals for me. Well anyway one night we where at my friends house and he came over and he did something that i was curious about but was kind of stupid. He had put the tip of his penis inside of me (only 1 time). Today (like 2 or 3 weeks after this happened) I was in health class and we where talking about sex and how you can get pregnant. My teacher told me that i could be pregnant, but my friend, 16 years old, told me that when she had just turned 15 she was in love and she wanted to have his baby. She told me that he came inside her 2 times and she has never and still is not pregnant. so can i be pregnant or am i just worrying myself about something small. Because my boyfriend told me that he is very sure that he did not pre-cum or cum at all when he was with me that whole night... So is there anything i can do to make sure that i am not pregnant without my parents finding out???
please respond ASAP...
Thank you :)

Hi NYC

It is possible for you to get pregnant this way. If he did not ejaculate, it is less likely, but it is still possible. You can buy a pregnancy test over the counter at a drug store or grocery store, and follow the directions to test for pregnancy, but not for a couple of weeks after the unprotected sex.

In most states, and I'm not sure about NY, but in most of them you can go to a Planned Parenthood and be tested for pregnancy and STDs without your parents being notified. You can also get birth control there, so you do not have to go through this again. They have fees adjusted for income, so don't let money stop you from going. They can also give you the education you need so you know how to protect yourself from disease and how to avoid pregnancy.

Just go to their website: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/, find the clinic nearest to you, and make an appointment. Do not leave pregnancy and your health to chance. You deserve to have proper care and education.

Good luck and thanks for writing.

To be less than scientific, Cowper's fluid does not typically contain sperm. It is not impossible, but very unlikely. Instances when pregnancy could occur are usually when there is leftover sperm in the urethra. If you have peed since the last time you have ejaculated, then the sperm has been more than likely cleared out. Leftover sperm can be left in the penis and pushed to the front during pre-ejaculation, which in term could journey through the vagina. So if you do not have sperm on your penis, and you have peed since you last ejaculated, then you are probably alright.

Anytime you have sex without protection, there is a chance of pregnancy.

Have you had your menstrual period yet?
