My fiancé and I haven’t had intercourse as we want to wait till marriage. However, things went a little too far the other day. He was rubbing his penis around my vagina and on my underwear. After it was wet but I think that was just from me. He isn’t sure if he had any pre cum or not. I started birth control a month ago and was on my plecebo pills, however I wasn’t bleeding because It was the first month so I had light bleeding a few days before. I know they say you can’t get pregnant on your plecebo pills but I wasn’t sure if I could because I wasn’t bleeding. I’m really worried about being pregnant. Please help!

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Pre-ejaculate does not contain any sperm. Sperm may be inside the urethra if he ejaculated recently and did not urinate since. If he urinated since he last ejaculated, there is no sperm at all. Pregnancy is very uncommon from pre-ejaculate and the urethra would have to contain sperm at the same time. You would also need to have intercourse. Sperm cannot penetrate underwear.

Additionally you are on the Pill and a woman cannot get pregnant during her placebo week.
There should no no pregnancy risk for you.
Best,
Susan
