Hi Brock,
I agree and taking precautions are certainly necessary.

I do believe the chances of this happening is near the boundary of impossible but still, it will never hurt to be a little more careful especially with what's at stake here.

Did the above answer not help, as it is the same answer to your same question!
"Pre-cum" (or pre-ejaculatory fluid) is fluid that is present on a man's erect penis, may contain sperm, and if it is near your vagina, there is a possibility of pregnancy.
It is a very slight chance, but there is always a chance of pregnancy when bodily fluids from the penis come into contact on/near/beside the vagina.

Adity, thanks for your question, and welcome to EmpowHer!
The short answer is yes, absolutely. You can get pregnant without penis-vaginal intercourse. If he ejaculates (or has pre-ejaculate) outside your body but some of it gets near or in your vagina, that is enough to become pregnant. Both pre-ejaculate and ejaculate have sperm in them, and all that you need to get pregnant is for enough sperm to enter your vagina to travel up to find the egg.
Does that help?
