Sometimes last week, things got heated between me and my boyfriend. I grind on top of him, both of us naked. There was no ejaculation and no penetration. Pre-ejaculate itself does not contain sperm. Sperm may be inside the urethra if a man ejaculated recently and did not urinate since. If he urinated since he last ejaculated, there is no sperm at all.
For all intents and purposes, there is a risk of pregnancy when a woman has unprotected sexual intercourse with ejaculation that enters the vagina. From what you say, this did not occur. It's best to use a condom during this kind of sex-play as accidents can easily happen.
