Can you re-word your question? Are you asking if baby powder is still effective when it is wet? Are you 15 years of age, and wetting the bed?

Please let us know what you are experiencing, and we can help you answer your question.

The idea with the baby powder is to use it when you put the Goodnites on, so if you wet during the night, it will protect your bottom a bit. A layer of diaper creme will do the same thing if applied at bedtime. Please also read the link I provided in my last post. You may not have to endure this condition ongoing. Your doctor may have some ideas to treat it, and we are here to help you advocate for your health.
Good luck!

Our daughter is 15 and a bedwetter for over a year now and wears cloth diapers and rubberpants every night.I use regular baby powder on her with baby lotion when i put the diapers and rubberpants on her before bedtime. After i pin the diapers on her ,i sprinkle babypowder on the outside of the diapers, then put the rubberpants on her. After they are on,i sprinkle the babypowder on them as well as it helps keep them soft!

Hi Anonymous,
Thanks for your question and for finding EmpowHER.
The skin needs to breathe, and anytime you have moisture on the skin for an extended period of time, it can cause irritation (diaper rash). Likewise, there have been reports of some diapers having chemicals that can cause irritation to sensitive skin (I haven't found reports of this related to Goodnites).
Ways of treating diaper rash include taking on a proactive effort of using a corn starch based powder or diaper cream to help absorb moisture and protect the skin from further irritation.
Have you seen a doctor about this condition? It is a real medical condition that the doctor may be able to treat.
Check out this link about the condition:

Hope this helps! Good luck, and let us know how you're doing.
