I would say the answer to your question is no, but a complicated no. Amenorrhea and ovarian cysts can both be symptoms of a problem, such as a hormonal problem. So they may go together but not really be causing each other, if that makes sense, although ovarian cysts can sometimes cause amenorrhea: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001504.htm
