45 years old, started bleeding for more than 7 days. I thought it was my period but on the 7th day when I thought it was supposed to taper off. My period continued along with blood clots and now cramping which I need 2 Extra Tylenol (500mg). I was diagnosed with hemorraghi cysts.
Should I go to the Gyn?

Hi Anonymous and thanks for bringing your concerns to the EmpowHER community.
The level of pain you are experiencing isn't normal, and yes, you need to see your doctor as soon as you can. While you already have the hemorrhagic cyst diagnosis you've mentioned, you could have additional issues that are causing the long period, clots and pain.
If you haven't already had one your doctor may want to order an ultrasound exam. You also should have blood tests to see if you have a hormonal imbalance.
Will you see your doctor soon and keep us posted? We hope you find the answers you need to resolve the pain and that you feel better soon.
Best,
Pam
