I found a website about Amberen and this all natural product was highly recommended by several people; most of them RN's. Is this product safe to take? Have you ever heard of the product? is it just for women who are in menopause or can someone my age (41) experiencing very minor symptons (weight gain and breast tenderness) take this product?

I am a 66 year old who was on hormone therapy for 5 years but then had a blood clot and went off the HRT immediately. Since that day 7 years ago, I have had hot flashes every hour of the day and night sweats. I have tried everything possible. Accupuncture, Antidepressants, Black Cohash, Estrovan. Nothng has helped. Is there anyone on this website who is in my category of post-post menopause. I keep hearing the great results of Amberin from younger women, I need to know more about older women who still suffer from Hot Flashes and night sweats? Has there been any success with Amberin for you??????

I have been on Amberen for just about 2 months and I feel very good. The vaginal dryness and "itchiness" is gone. I'm glad I found it and will continue with it.

I started taking Amberen about 50 days ago. (one Red and one white per day) I have been very impressed with the product. I was waking up at least 4-6 times a night with soaking night sweats and several times just with a hot flash. My ability to concentrate was really effected by the sleep deprivation. Within about three days I slept through the night and only woke up a couple times. After two weeks I was still having some trouble sleeping so for three days I increased the dosage to two of each a day, then back to one of each again. After about 3 weeks I felt wonderful. Just over a month and I got my first period in 5 months. When my period stopped I began getting more hot flashes again. After a week I started taking two of each for the last three days and it seems to be working again. I am going back to one a day starting tomorrow.
I do notice a slight headache if I don't take my pills by about 10am. I think I can live with that. I couldn't live with not sleeping. I should mention my interest in my man has improved and so has everything else. Thank you Amberen. I'll write more after my 90 days is finished.

Here's an update on my post. I have been finish with my 90 day cycle for about 2 weeks. I did get my period again when I finished the Amberen. The good news is no headaches, hot flashes, or problems sleeping. I had a very minor Irregular heartbeat for 2 or 3 evenings. Not enough to really bother me. I had some blood work done 5 days before my 90 days was over. My CRP and Cholesterol were a little higher than before the Amberen. I have started to lose some of the 5 lbs. I gained. One pound last week, 1.5 lbs. this week. Feeling better and better. I still don't know how this stuff works, but it sure does. Thanks Amberen.

Time for my next update. I finished my first course of Amberen as posted above. I was off it for over two months, and had no hot flashes or problems. I went on a trip and when I returned the hot flashes started to come back. I started the amberen again. It took a little longer to get the flashes under control than I thought it would, but started decreasing them slowly right away. At 60 days on my second course, I have no more hot flashes, Irregular heartbeat, or any other symptoms. I have no "side effects" of any kind. I do have about six friends also using Amberen. This stuff is great. Thank you.

I have been taking Amberon for 1 month and its the best thing since sliced bread. within 2 weeks my night sweats dropped from 4 or 5 a night to 1 now i have none, i still have hot flashes here and there but nothing that i feel the full 90 day treatment won't take care of. I sleep great i feel great, i would definitely recommend it.
