Although im currently receiving ssi benefits from social security my condition has worsened I now need a full hip replacement and have horrible nerve damage to my knee and ankle I tried to apply for the Medicare card under disability and was turned away

We are sorry to hear this and hope something can be worked out.  Did they give you a reason or at least say what else you can do? Unfortunately, we are not associated with SSI or Medicare. Try calling them (again) and ask to speak to someone that can, hopefully, recommend what else you can do.
