4 months no period

My last period started November 8 and pasted 5 days. My periods are about 1-2 off since I had my daughter in Jan 2014 but I thought it was due to my PCOS I was told I had in 2007. I have never totally missed periods and not been pregnant. I have taken numourous home pregnancy tests and they have came back negative. I dohave pregnancy symptoms, the same ones I had with my daughter, including abominal bloating and weight gainbut I know that doesn't mean I'm pregnant. I am just curious if there are any other reasons for my symptoms and is there any natural ways or vitamins to help get it under control before going to a doctor. Thanks

Hi Coleybug23,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

Irregular menstrual cycle is one of the main side effects. In fact, absence of your menstration is normal for those that have PCOS. Also, your age may have something to do with it. Women going thru menopause experience change in their PCOS symptoms.

As for suggestions for improving symptoms, a healthy diet and exercise are two good places to start.

I hope this helps,
Be well,
