Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

You are likely in peri-menopause -this is the time of life where women are beginning to lose fertility and enter menopause. One of the first signs is a change in periods - often causing them to be more frequent.

The menopausal years are part of the normal cycle of life - there is nothing that can be done to stop it but the birth control pill - if you chose that path - can get you on a longer, regular cycle again.

A healthy diet and exercise, with just small amounts of caffeine and alcohol can help ease symptoms. So can plenty of sleep and meditation. Along with this, women simply go on with life and do the best they can.
Best,
Susan
