Really appreciate your analogy on gym and life. I've been through my share of gyms in my time as well. And you're right, it comes with a cast of characters.

At first, I considered those characters a distraction. I was all gym business and didn't really want to interact. I was there to work out period. But after a while, I realized the elliptical can become a little repetitive and it's the person who's working out next to you that can make it interesting.

In retrospect, I've learned a lot from the people I've met at the gym including great places to run or bike in my area, a whole new form of exercise in martial arts and mixed martial arts (something I wouldn't have delved into on my own) and some of my favorite book recommendations have come from people who used to read them while sweating away on the stationary bicycle.

Love your photo, BTW. A strong woman.

I also noticed in your post that you've written a book. Can you share a few tips that women can use to help transform their bodies?
