This was a great story! I have many, many people in my family who are living with diabetes; some happily and others are really struggling. It was helpful to hear what they may be going through...I never even thought of them having to make a decision to wear/not to wear their pump during swimming.
Please share more stories about the daily life of living with diabetes, as well as how diabetes impacted your trip to Uganda (both positive, neutral and negative ways)....it honestly helps me be a more supportive friend and relative.
