Studies show, smoking cigarettes, causes cancer. That's what I know to be true. Cigarettes cause lung cancer. Not sure about the effects cigarettes have on the brain are. But we can certainly look that information up for you or direct you to some credible websites that have this information.
Best advice.. quit. That is so difficult to do, but easy to say, though. Especially, if you're the one who doesn't have the habit and has no idea what it's like to be addicted to cigarettes.
There are many methods to help someone quit nowadays. But, if you are asking these questions because you are afraid for a family member, a friend or yourself. Then let's get you some options of how you, or someone you care about, can successful quit. It may seem impossible but there are so many more things today that can help ease the pain when you decide to quit.
