Hi Alysiak,

I see more and more women who are having too much work done. Or, maybe their just going to bad surgeons.

It's not my place to say, you should or should not have plastic surgery. That is your choice. But, it is my place as an advocate to make sure you do certain things to ensure success and not end up with the very scary Joan Van Ark, look. I thought Joan Van Ark was a beautiful woman. I wonder if she recognizes what has happened to her? There are doctors out there that specialize in redoing bad plastic surgery. They are rare, but some seem to be excellent at fixing another surgeons mistake.

It's a tough job because the doctor doesn't want to hurt his or her reputation if the outcome isn't as good as they hoped it would be. They don't know what they're going to encounter until once they get in and start working on the problem area. It takes a special surgeon.

I have known many women who have had botox, laser, Rhinoplasti..better known as a nose job...many procedures with bad outcomes. This is a huge topic that I can talk about for hours. I'll have to blog on this.

Haven't you known someone who has had a bad outcome from plastic surgery?

Did they get the problem fixed or just live with it?

We should do a whole section of the site on this subject. Women need to share their stories and what they did to get on the other side of plastic surgery gone bad.

Best in health,

Michelle
