Hello, Anon!

Thank you for writing today.

We are sorry you are going through this.

For the benefit of our readers, a prolapsed bladder happens when the pelvic floor muscles surrounding the bladder weaken or loosen, the bladder is no longer supported, causing it to slouch against the vagina and creating an obstruction or bulge in the vaginal cavity. This can cause urinary problems such as stress incontinence.

There are several panty liners and pads on the market that can quickly turn liquid into gel to keep odor in check and keep you feeling dry throughout the day. Changing these liners and pads often may also help. Keep a small packet of feminine cleansing towelettes in your purse that you can use to freshen up when you're out. A feminine deodorant spray or powder may also help with odor.

Discuss treatment options with your doctor, which can help with the various symptoms of bladder prolapse. Your treatment plan will depend largely on what grade prolapse you have.
