If you are on the pill, there was no reason to take emergency conception. Taking just in case, along with your birth control pills, will only cause unnecessary side effects. Your birth control pill protects you from pregnancy every day as long as you take it regularly. ECP can cause nausea and a general feeling of being unwell. But a stomach virus is possible also or something you ate. You mention an unhealthy lifestyle which might also be a factor.
