There is no risk of pregnancy. Sperm would be long dead from your hands by the time you got home. To get pregnant you'd have to deliberately place live sperm immediately up your vaginal opening. "Probably" touching your genital area is not something of concern.
We cannot say why your period is late but it's not due to pregnancy. A pregnancy test can confirm this for you and would be accurate by now.
