Cataract surgery is considered a relatively straightforward day surgery procedure, with a patient returning home within several hours of the operation. You will be given post-operative instructions and eye drops will be prescribed.
It's normal for vision to be blurry in the beginning as your eye needs to heal and adjust. Vision will normally begin to improve within a few days of the surgery. Outwardly, your eyes should not look any different once the initial inflammation from the surgery has subsided.
