HERWriter Guide

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

We can only hazard an educated guess as to what kind of injury you had. You may have strained your shoulder but it's also possible the source of the injury was in your spine.

You may have something called a brachial plexus injury. With minor brachial plexus injuries, the pain can extend to the shoulders and arms. Subsequent pain can result in numbness or tingling in the hands and fingers.

Most of these injuries heal on their own. You didn't say when this happened but it's good that your neck and shoulder feel better. If this is a brachial plexus injury, It's likely the tingling will go away on it's own with time.

If it does not, see your doctor.

I hope you feel better soon.

Best,
Susan
