We cannot say whether hair will go back for you but (the glue from) lace front wigs can cause a permanent receding hairline - the model Naomi Campbell is a good example of this. If you have stopped using these wigs for some time, and nothing has grown in, the hair may be gone for good. Ask your doctor if hair growth creams would work for you.
