Don't take magnesium supplements until you talk to your doctor. Some magnesium supplements should not be taken with Crestor because they may decrease blood levels of statin drugs like Crestor. Your doctor is the best person to ask. He/she will have a list of any medications you are on (and mention your supplements) and possible contraindications.
