Do you mean dementia? Dementia is a group of conditions characterized by impairment of at least two brain functions, such as memory loss and judgment.

Sleep patterns can vary for each person that has Dementia. Up to half of the people with dementia will have a sleep pattern that is not normal. Often, they are sleepy during the day and have difficulty with sleeping for long periods at night. They may have a less deep sleep or sleep more often. This could be due to dementia directly, changes in how they perceive the world, or medications used to treat dementia.
