Nephroptosis is the medical term for a floating (or mobile) kidney. This condition is quite rare. Many questions remain about treatment but a newer laproscopic method of surgery has given doctors hope. But because this condition is rare and not many people have had the surgery done, there is no tried and true treatment plan.
