Your father will not get better until he stops smoking.
He may have lung disease - emphysema, COPD, bronchitis or even lung cancer. He needs to see a doctor immediately to be evaluated.
He will needs scans and other tests to see how his lungs are functioning and a treatment plan including smoking cessation.
Please make sure he gets care as soon as possible and please stay in touch with us.
