It is normal to occasionally feel the pulsing sensation of blood traveling through the abdominal aorta.
However, since you are in pain and dealing with constipation and gas, I suggest you go back to your doctor to discuss various possibilities like irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease and various digestive conditions that could be causing this.
