This condition - CJD - is exceedingly rare. Only about one in one million people on the planet would have it at a time, meaning only about 7000 of the world population of over 7 billion would have it. I'm not sure how you happened to be around an area where this condition was found, several times in just 6 years.
There has not been a case of this condition being founds in donated blood.
