Tremors are not typically related to degenerative disc disease. However, in some cases, degenerative disk disease can lead to numbness and tingling in your arms and legs. It can also cause muscle weakness. This means the damaged disks may be affecting the nerves near your spine.

Degenerative disc disease is one of the most common causes of low back and neck pain.
Degenerative disc disease most commonly occurs in the cervical spine (neck) or the lumbar spine (lower back), as these areas of the spine undergo the most motion and are most susceptible to wear and tear.
