There are a number of reasons you may have numbness in the thigh. Your doctor can find out the cause of your numbness just by reviewing your symptoms and performing a physical examination. In some cases, MRI of the lower back or nerve conduction testing may be helpful if the cause is not clear after your doctor performs a physical exam.
