Hello Anon

Thank you for writing!

People who use birth control pills are more susceptible to yeast infections but if you've been off the pills for several months, you should be back to normal again. Some women are just more prone to them, regardless of medications. A balanced diet with good probiotics can help and if you swim, never hang out in a wet swimsuit (or sweaty gym clothes) etc as these are prime breeding grounds for yeast overgrowth.

As for condoms - they can be extremely irritating for some women - some women can't use them at all. Have you tried natural, organic condoms? They are chemical free but may cost a bit more. Try looking into the Sustain brand or Glyde. You can split the costs with your partner and if regular condoms are causing all this, it'll be well worth it. It will be a trial and error situation to know if they work - so give them a few tries.

Also make sure you only wear cotton underwear and use clothes detergent that is natural and chemical/dye/fragrance free. An unprocessed diet will also help.

Best,
Susan
