Hi Anonymous - Sorry to hear you aren't able to see your doctor due to not having insurance. Bumps and lumps are fairly common and occur for a number of reasons. You can try soaking in hot water again to see if the size reduces. If you should experience any pain, of course, you would need to find a way to get medical care, perhaps at an urgent care center.
