Thank you for writing.
You need to see your doctor if your levels are high and your medication/diet plan is not working.
Swelling of this kind is known as edema.
Compression socks can help with this swelling as can moving about as much as you can and keeping your salt intake to a minimum. Edema can also be helped be elevating the legs so they are higher than your heart, when possible.
Please also mention this edema to your doctor so he/she can approve a treatment plan.
