The following foods can irritate an inflamed lower esophagus and may need to be limited or avoided:
-citrus fruits and juices (grapefruit, orange, pineapple, tomato)
-coffee (regular and decaffeinated)
-caffeinated soft drinks.

-other caffeinated beverages.
-spicy and fatty fried foods
Contact your doctor and tell him or her you are not feeling any better. Especially if you feel enough time has passed since starting your treatment.
